    I was expecting “add trains and colourful sunsets” but I guess that works too. And KumouNoMukou didn’t have the song at the climax. :D

    I thought the montage worked well the first time I saw it, but after rewatching it, not I’m not quite sure. Still like the song though. :P

    The montage works fine for me the second time I saw it. And the third. And the fourth. But for some I’m sure the downer ending feels less blunt the second time around…

    I thought the ending montage sucked when I first saw it - the editing was so cheesy and jarring that it almost completely killed it for me. Omo and WAH probably remember me ranting while we were leaving the theater.

    Yeah. I kind of agree with you, but I actually need to watch the movie again.

    Could this post also double as “How to make Honey and Clover episodes”? But I guess in H&C the song never really came at the end, and more at around the mid-point…
