Tokyo Travelog 2009 Part 1.1
While it’s my first time actually doing stuff in Tokyo, it felt oddly familiar like my childhood home. Minus the stench, stray animals, and insects. And the relatively lower price of living.
I actually don’t have a lot to share with you guys in terms of pictures, so you’ll have to make due with a couple dishes from LittleBSD. The meatball roulette thing (not pictured) is actually an awesome idea, and should be done at more places.
More importantly, I think I owe it to this dangerous individual to write down some quotes and deeds. Not all include him, but one of them that does would make an awesome 4koma strip…
1. While walking down towards Mandarake in Akihabara, Wildarmsheero was mentioning how he only takes leaflets from well-dressed, non-ugly solicitors, so to speak. I hope you can allow me to continue to be tongue-in-cheek about it (sorry if you do not know what I’m talking about), but just right after he said that, we crossed path with a family business, moms and daughters and all, handing out fliers. There was a little girl, about age of 8 or so, standing there with someone who looked like her aunt or mom. She was handing out fliers like everyone else. Wah hesitated immediate and slowly turned around and grabbed the flyer from her, in the process ignoring the 3 other people in the area who we walked past first. I laughed. Hard.
2. “One fourth of a little girl.”
3. Explaining what BL is to a couple normal Japanese friends of a friend was an amusing exercise.
4. “Takai” lol.
5. Gaijin Smash is not a good idea. But it’ll do in a pinch.
6. Crap, things are expensive. Blast them cash-based societies.
7. Crappy curry with grounded beef tastes strangely like chili…
8. Imagine Wah as your little brother. How would you react?
There will be pictures, but I’ll have to collect them.
Anime watched so far: Canaan, Eva 1….o? The NTV broadcast was mostly the same, who cares…
Lastly, it’s 1.1 mainly because I omitted some stuff from the day before, but it wasn’t anything worth writing about.

“8. Imagine Wah as your little brother. How would you react?” My brain stopped functioning for a moment as I tried to process that one ^^;;
A better question would be what do you do with a son like that? A little brother you just beat up until he straightens out. But a son would be a real responsibility and a headache, while options get fairly limited.
what did I tell you about bankai?
“I laughed. Hard.”
So did I when I read that excerpt. Oh wah. :P
Upon finally looking at the flyer, it seems as if it’s for some Chinese film festival :x
Aww cute Chinese kid.
they should put her in Meiling’s getup.
Gaijin Smash is usually a great way to exploit situations. Particularly at crosswalks.
