Looking for Otaku Photogs That Walk the Walk in DC
It’s already been a few days since Eden of the East was made available, so we’re already ‘not-l33t’ by some standards, but it’s not too late!
Location shots! The one for K-ON appeared pretty much the day after it aired. It was crazy. They surely are not lazy.
And granted, stuff like the lawn shot of the White House is as easy to pick out as any, as well as many of NY’s skylines and landmarks, there’s a lot of space left to fill out for boredhardcore fans to snap those choice shots. Like the Dept. of Commerce bit, the area around the memorial that Saki ran through, the CVS where those pants where exchanged, just to name a few.
Folks up for a real challenge can explore the airport. Dulles International Airport is p. cool the one time I’ve been to it. I know security is a problem for the casual photoblogger but surely there is a way…
To make it easier I’ve uploaded a bunch of the caps here. It’s not much but it’s what I can do.
So many landscape screenshots! :) Those are nice, but I prefer depictions of nature in Canada and buildings in Rome this season ;)

Maybe if I had time and knew DC a lot better than I do know (I actually don’t know that much despite living in the area lol), I’d take you up on that challenge. Hopefully someone else can do it. :P
I do have to watch Eden of the East first though. :P
You know, what I found remarkable about the show wasn’t the scenes, it was the fact that they managed to find better english voice acting than most actual english dubs have. :P
